In my previous careers as a photographer, makeup artist, and journalist, all I wanted to do was work backstage and on film, video, and photography sets with artists, actors, and musicians.
After officially entering the entertainment business with my PR agency in 2004, I was finally a key industry player and now I’m even closer with the talent as a PR and marketing coach helping them build confidence, grow an audience, and achieve goals.
Sure photographing, putting makeup on or writing about performers was fun, but as a publicist and coach, I get to be in the inner circle and have a direct impact on artists’ careers. I also get to meet and sometimes even be friends with entertainers I admire.
It all still makes me giddy!
